Sweet sensations

Heeeeeeey,

Outfit of the day! As it was Thursday which is known at the office as 'posh shoe day' I decided to dress up a little and wear this little number from River Island it's a cute dress with a collar, pink bow and pleated skirt. It reminds me of sweets and candy, almost like a walking pink humbug :)

Pink Stripe Sailor Dress - River Island
Sheer Chiffon Jacket - Olive Clothing
Black Flatforms - New Look

I've also been loving these black flatforms which I bought from New look last summer - they are so comfy and easy to walk in but adds a good height which being my height is always a bonus!

Until next time :)

Laidback dreams ...

Hey!

So it was Monday, back to work after a good weekend and I didn't really fancy dressing up too much - I bought some new chinos from the Topshop sale (which is very good this season) and decided to team with a white tie vest, sheer shirt, some beige TOMS and trusty Ray Ban Wayfarer Meteors!

A very laidback look and quite different to my usual go to style, but I am trying to introduce some new staple items to my wardrobe which I can incorporate easily.

 White tie shirt tee -Topshop
Chinos - Topshop
TOMS - Schuh
Black sheer shirt - New Look

How are you liking this new look? I guess since I have now lost weight I am being even more so adventurous with new styles :) I particularly love the TOMS, I can feel that they are going to be my summer staple! If little old rainy England will ever get a summer :(

DIY Aztec Nails

Hey lovely people!

I know I have been slacking on the blogging front as of late but I promise I will keep it up from now :) so these past few months have been very busy what with work, catching up with friends and also I have been dieting! Since the New Year I have been on a low calorie, low fat and fitness regime! I am pleased to say that I have lost a stone now which is fantastic! Still another to go and I will be happy :)

So I have been experimenting with nail art and have created a aztec print design which is very on trend this spring summer 2012. Aztec print nails are very tribal inspired and the intricate detail is key to the look. So heres the nail polish that I used to create the aztec print look;

The aztec nail design did take me an hour but it was worth it! Love the colours and playing around with the tribal patterns :)

So what do you guys think of the aztec print?

Oh hai :)

I've got some new finger bling - from my new favourite vintage online shop Batoko a good mix of vintage and modern clothes at a reasonable price! The label brands itself on the terms glam, grunge and disco! Very moi ^_^ I bought two rings and love them so next purchases will be some clothes.

Also throw in my outfit of the day...

Heart top - DIY
Velvet leggings - Topshop
Studded toe boots - Topshop
Snood scarf - Accessorize

Have you checked out Batoko's website? What do you think of it?

Outfit of the day - Black Sparkles

Hey lovelies!

Been awhile I know! I apologise for being a lazy blogger T_T but I promise I will start getting back into it, with it being one of my New Years resolutions and all!

I thought I would share with you one my favourites outfits that I wore during the festive period. I was keen into keeping it understated with black but with accessories and sparkles in the skirt that made it look very Christmassy?! Also I am wearing my Stylist Pick black shoe boots, I adore them - they look great on and make me loads taller but OMG they hurt to even stand in! Hmm

Shirt - Vintage
Skirt - Topshop
Scarf - Benefit Prowwl promotional
Shoes - Stylist Pick

Heres some more shots of the shoes close up and my make up ^_^

You'll have also noticed that I ombréd my hair! Woo I got it done at the salon as I didn't trust myself to do it, but I loved the way its turned out - it fades from black to brown to blonde! Love love love!

Anyways, hope you liked the outfit and what do you think of the new hair?

Catch up with you guys in the NY 2012 ^_^

Love,

Graduation...

Hey there!

Sorry that I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks but I was busy graduating and then popping off on a holiday to Paris! New post and pictures will follow! So I have now finished a four year degree at Bournemouth University and am a graduate in BA (HONS) Public Relations ^_^

It was a great day overall if not a bit hectic - stayed overnight at a hotel to make sure I wasn't late etc and I was very happy as my two lovely aunties came to visit me especially to attend my graduation, very sentimental and all that jazz!

The graduation ceremony was held at the BIC and was on 11.11.11, what a special date to remember! I loved wearing my cap and gown, felt so grown up and proud haha the overall ceremony was long as it was the whole media school but it was worth it!
Here is a picture of me in my graduation outfit posing to the full!

AND

My aunties in chinese tradition bought me a sanrio graduation plush! I got the cute My Melody toy aww so cute! Check it out..

Until next time,

My new ear candy: Ear cuffs

Oh haiiii

As you know I've been loving the glam grunge jewellery as of late and ear cuffs have been a staple of my accessories - they add a certain toughness to an outfit without being too over bearing.

Here are the two ear cuffs that I have been wearing, both from Topshop. They're nothing too out there and crazy but just subtle enough to give off that tough look.

Feather ear cuff from fashion rock jewellery brand Regal Rose this is much more of a statement piece in comparison but would look great if you wanted more a hippie rock look.
Three symbolic ear cuffs from Regal Rose these are more understated and can be more easily worn with outfits, I particularly love the little cross.

So what do you think of ear cuffs? Would you incorporate it into your look to give it a bit of edge?

Speak soon!
